Global Print Limit Reached!
The global print limit for all users was reached (see top right). The student printer can only be used for scanning until the percentage falls below 100%.
Alternative printers are available in the computer lab (E1 3, room 104) for free or in E1 1 (ground floor) opposite the mail boxes (paid).
Student Printer
Unfortunately due to Corona, the student printer is not accessible for general use. Only for thesis printing. If you want to print a thesis, send us an email at printer@cs.fs.uni-saarland.de. We hope to be able to provide the service again as soon as students are allowed to enter the study rooms again.
The student printer is provided by the Computer Science Students' Representative Council and the Computer Science department. It is generously supported by the Freunde der Saarbrücker Informatik e.V. and the Freunde der Fachschaft Informatik e.V. It is intended for all students of the computer science department and related fields of study. Normally it is located in the notebook room (E1 3, room 013).
To use the printer you need to register once at the machine itself. A description is given on this site. Take a look at the credits site to see how many pages you can print.
Furthermore you find information on how to use the printer, either with or without a computer. Happy printing!
